Where to live

Rojales

38 listings available

Rojales is two things at once. The old village sits on the river, with cave houses cut into the rock and a stone bridge from the eighteenth century. Above it spreads Ciudad Quesada — a large international urbanisation built around its own golf course, with shops, restaurants and schools of its own.

Most people who live here came from somewhere colder and stayed. The Sunday market at El Zoco is one of the biggest on the coast, and the salt lakes turn pink in the late afternoon.
