San Fulgencio is really two settlements. The Spanish village sits inland, with its square, its church and its Thursday market. A few kilometres away spreads Urbanización La Marina — one of the largest residential communities on this coast, where three quarters of the residents came from somewhere else in Europe.
Everything here is single-storey and low-density: bungalows, quad houses, villas with pools, wide streets and mature gardens. The pine-backed beach of La Marina is a seven-minute drive.
Here you will feel at home if you want space and a garden at a sensible price, English spoken everywhere, and the sand a short drive away.
